. . . That it's now almost exactly a year since I set off from John O'Groats! The plan was always to finish towards the middle or end of October and it's still looking good. I've now done 104 days of walking and completed more than 800 miles. Still a way to go but should hit Land's End on 21 or 22 October.
Someone told me that it now costs £10 to actually get to Land's End. If that's so, I think there might be a few sparks flying when we get there!
Today was pleasant enough, if unremarkable. Another 8 or 9 miles along country lanes from Morchard Bishop to North Tawton - in mostly fair weather but one very heavy shower. Fine views of the northern edge of Dartmoor! Should pass through Okehampton tomorrow - then we have to start thinking about how to negotiate Bodmin Moor!
