BIT OF A SPURT TODAY!

I've been dawdling a bit recently, on my own, at the mercy of buses and ahead of schedule - but Jane came down to join me today. (Oh Joy!)
So, I started walking at about midday and just kept going until she got here.  Most of the route was along the A30 and the weather was fine, so I just legged it as fast as possible.  Stopped at Smokey Joe's Cafe for a bacon butty and then made it as far as Redruth Station - a good 9 miles.
I'm now on the last (or first) page of my 102 page road atlas - which is a massive psychological landmark!  I could easily finish in 5 days from now but Andras is coming down next weekend so we'll take it easy, visit St Michael's Mount and a couple of other interesting places and save the final bit round the coast for the weekend.
Meanwhile, we're enjoying great hospitality at the Countryman Inn, near Pool - a great pub!
