WHITEBALL? IT'S THE MOON!

That had occurred to me but I wasn't sure until I had a very nice pint at a pub of that name in Tiverton and saw the Inn sign. However, we also saw it for real - a fantastic full moon, like a big white ball, directly opposite the sun in the evening sky. Quite spectacular!
Glorious sunshine but only a shortish walk today, just 5 or 6 miles through TIverton (very nice town), crossing the River Exe (another major landmark) and then a long 200 metre climb up to Withleigh, where Jane met me.
Then we drove back to the minibus, where I did a long interview with Philip Knighton for 10 Radio. Hopefully, after it's been broadcast, we'll be able to put it on the website!
Moved campsites to near Okehampton, which will do us for the next week or so.
Tomorrow I hope to walk to a place called Black Dog! Beautiful Devon scenery and more peaceful country lanes.
