Well, it wasn't too bad really - drizzle, light showers, low clouds and the odd spell of dry - but it was very humid all day.
Started at Oswestry Racecourse - a lovely stroll along the ridge, then some ups and downs through woods and along the Dyke to Trefonen. Then a fairly gentle climb up to the top of Moelydd, the biggest hill in these parts, with superb views all round - even in this weather!
Finally, a pretty descent (mostly) to finish at Porth y Waen. Tomorrow is a much longer walk but it's mostly on the flat along the canal and then beside the River Severn, finishing at Pool Quay. PLEASE can we have some sunshine!
