GLAD WE DIDN'T DO IT YESTERDAY!

Lovely walk today - about 8.5 miles along old drove roads, over rolling hills, from Waterheads to Peebles - and no rain at all! In fact we even got some sun! Dave Bathgate walked with me today. What a pleasure - and fascinating to be ambling at my gentle pace alongside a guy who is a veteran of countless major climbing and mountaineering expeditions all over the world! Thanks Dave. Tomorrow it's probably just a gentle riverside stroll from Peebles to Cardrona, then the drive home. If the weather is really good, I might try to get to Traquair House and sample some of their special beer! If not, that's something to look forward to next time!
