NOT QUITE SO BRIGHT

A somewhat duller day today - and is has to be said, a rather duller walk too. Queensferry to Kirkliston along the road but then a rather nice disused railway track - would have been really peaceful but for the motorway noise. Nice views back to the bridges from Ratho. A good 7.5 miles means a nice short early morning stroll to Malleny Mills tomorrow, then back to Ripon. Jane decide to revisit the Forth Road Bridge across and back, also walked round old Queensferry town (and found good coffee!). Looking forward to a civilised night, hot shower and comfy bed at Hawes Inn, under the Forth Railway bridge - very pretty.
