Isn't Scotland Glorious?
At least it is when the sun shines!
Parked the bus at Slochd Summit and Jane took me on to Moy and dropped me. Walked to Tomatin (past the distillery) and met Jane at the very impressive Village Hall and Sports Centre. Jane joined me for the second half of the walk, over the very strange Findhorn Bridge - with spectacular views of the Findhorn Valley and surrounding hills and then we poddled up the long but remarkably gentle ascent to Slochd Summit (405 metres).
After collecting Jane's car we moved campsite to Dalraddy Site near Alvie - much better site with excellent showers!
Drove into Kingussie and then went to look at Ruthven Barracks then had a pint at Loch Insh water sports centre - very smart place with beautiful views over the loch!
Fresh breezes today brought lots of sunny intervals creating spectacular colours on the mountain forests.
