Back home now, having completed the first stretch of the big walk. 54 miles, from John O'Groats to Helmsdale - not a bad start! I'll post the full details later, when I've caught up some sleep after the long drive back to Ripon.
I'll be driving up to Scotland to start the next stretch pretty soon - watch this space for details - hopefully, I'll make it to Inverness before the end of October. Some more company would be welcome - please pass the word on to friends and let me know if you're interested in joining me.
